ICC in Chicago

ICC

The ICC in Chicago started. Due to circumstances, the sisters from East Timor are delayed, but the three other parts of the Congregation are presente: Brazil, the Philippines and the US.

The meeting started with an oficial part in which Sr Hermin opened the meeting with a reflection on the story of Nehemia. Then Sr Elisangela explained the importance of working together for a vital future of the Congregation, followed by a prayer service.

After that, the participants exchanged their expectations and Sr Pauline LaMothe showed us animation about a caterpillar becoming a butterfly. Not so easy process, because all kind of dangers are lurking. But if that process goes well, a beautiful butterfly will emerge that is able to fertilize flowers and lay eggs again so that a new generation of butterflies can develope.

Sr Pauline allowed the sisters to get to know each other in a pleasant way. The basis to talk in openess and confidence to think about the future of the Congregation.
