Little works out to how we’d expect:
we might see in this the glorious
workings of the Spirit, Spirit of God
who time and again visits and pursues
us, surprises and tests us with the
strangest and most beautiful things.
(from: Charity in your name)
We have confidence in God. In the past we used to call this Divine Providence. Confidence in Divine Providence is part of the essence of our religious attitude to life. Besides the fact that we believe in the Merciful God, we have great confidence is His healing presence in this world. To us, this is different from a blind faith in ‘things turning out all right.
