ICC

This morning we had an exciting meeting about connectedness with lay. This time we started with video messages from Sr Mel and Dana (Friend) from the United States and Mrs Elisabeth from Indonesia. It soon became apparent that not every country has a formal structure to shape the connection with lay people. When there is a structure, then there are differences in names. Connected members are called Friends in the United States, Friends in Mission in Indonesia  and associate members in Brazil. Being associated is the most intensive form of connection. Apart from the level of involvement and naming, there is also a difference in training and activities.

And so times fly to 1 pm: time for lunch. In the afternoon everyone was free to enjoy a trip, a terrace, an Italian ice cream or to do some shopping meanwhile enjoying the wonderful Italian summer weather.
