During the General Chapter (June 2017) various agreements were made. One was to develop a more closely collaboration for Brazil, Timor Leste, the US and the Philippines.
On Sunday, July 28th, sisters from these four provinces will discuss the feasibility of working together more closely during the ICC in Chicago. The General Board will be present as well.
Various factors play a role in ‘working closely together’. Two important aspects are discussed: interculturality and leadership. Both themes are introduced and guided by American sisters who have experience in this area.
The participants in this meeting have since received various documents to prepare themselves thoroughly.
After ten days of gathering, they hope to have inspired each other and to have a clearer picture of the challenges that this experiment entails.
